My name is Robert Erfling and I teach the beginners group of the Wu Yuansu Shaolin Kung Fu School.

In 1992 I first came in contact with the Japanese art of  Ninjutsu. In this time I have learned much about movement and practical application of martial arts.

A few years later I started Nggo-Mbie-Paei Kung-fu when Maurice Kleijnen opened his school. When Shaolin monik Zhang LiPeng in 1997 moved to the Netherlands and began teaching in Eindhoven, I took the opportunity for first hand knowledge about the traditional and original Shaolin Kung-fu style. Today I have learned much to about the typical movements of this traditional style.

Also I have learned one thing: "It is about yourself and what you want to be. Can't doesn't exist, only that it is difficult to do."

What appeals to me in kung-fu? It combines practical self defense techniques with physical fitness, flexibility, balance and reflexes and it is very versatile.
