Foundation Martial Arts Dojo was founded in 1990 from a mix of professionalism and idealism. | | Foundation: for us to pursue our vision: the practice of martial arts and likewise. In the mean while that has become a whole package. With this for an example our Shaolin Kungfu, Taiji Quan, Qi Gong, Chan (Zen) and Tuina (Shiatsu). | | Martial Arts are the core activities that the Foundation offers. Which has not the emphasis on competition, sport or ego, but wishes to develop, learn and grow. Martial Arts practice not only to develop the skills of martial art, but to learn self defense, get more self confidence, assertivness, discipline and learn how to survive. We also promote adaptability, flexibility, personal power, people knowledge, wisdom, leadership, authenticity (natural self), virtuous behavour and ultimately the biggest secret: enlighting! | | Of course, most practitioners of martial arts practice for their pleasure and not for pursuing these goals or objectives, but it is possible. It's all in The Game! | | Dojo for practice. Like? a home, ia place you feel safe and welcome, it may also be a image on where you are in life. Everything you can experience is a form of training. We now know that nature is also our dojo. We have practiced the art indoors and in nature to learn under natural conditions. If your martial art is practiced in a dojo it is too sterile and you get too far away from reality. | | "with hard exercise it is easier to fight ". | | The credo is this: | | "Train as you fight so you will fight as you train!" | | This is a good and solid basis for almost every moment in all situations to defend and not get unpleasant surprises. | |
